This is how your customers perceive your business!
A customer working with a supplier or company perceives the business they are dealing with as being a single entity. This perception remains fixed even if the customer often interacts with a number of employees in different roles, or even different departments. A conversation with a client by any employee in the business is perceived by the customer as a conversation with the company, and a customer will quickly feel frustrated if previous interactions, history or discussions are not known across your business! Put yourself in the customer shoes for a moment, and consider how often you feel annoyed because you are having to repeat the baseline of a discussion with yet another person in a company!
